All In A Week's Work 11/08/09 aka Fun songs to drum along to...

MuteMath at The Tabernacle in ATL on Friday followed by the Atlanta Falcons football game at the Georgia Dome today...it's like a welcome mat to Georgia. Busy weekend but SO much fun :) I went to the MuteMath show on Friday night after listening to the CD all week thinking, "Hey, this'll be good" but I was completely blown away; the drummer Darren King is my new hero...which leads me to this week's "AIAWW." Instead of the standard fare of new and random music, I've decided to do a collection of songs that have made me a) almost dislodge my steering wheel in the past and b) lose the feeling in my hands from smacking against said steering wheel (totally safe while driving)... So, here's the list. MuteMath videos from Friday's show after the jump :)

Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight
The Hush Sound - Medicine Man
Jet - Are You Gonna Be My Girl
Good Charlotte - Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous
Blue Man Group - I Feel Love
Foo Fighters - My Hero
Foo Fighters - In Your Honor
Muse - Assassin
Silverchair - Freak
Metallica - Fuel
U2 - Mofo
U2 - Where The Streets Have No Name
311 - Applied Science (Live)
The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army
Tripping Daisy - Trip Along
Tool - Hooker With A Penis
Tool - Aenima

MuteMath videos - Live at The Tabernacle, ATL (11/06/09):

This was seriously insane. They were stand-alone drum pads that they'd coordinated the lights behind.
