All In A Week's Work - 11/01/09

I went out for Halloween last night (which I haven't done in four years). No, I didn't dress up. Yes, I did get drunk, thanks for asking. Did I almost fall in the bushes outside my house after getting back from the bar? Why yes, I did - how'd you know that?! And finally, yes Dum-dums do taste nasty with Corona. See Exhibit A:OK, enough ridiculousness and onto the music. I am VERY excited to go see MuteMath this Friday at The Tabernacle in Atlanta. Me Ma's been all about this band for a while and it wasn't until two nights ago that I listened to their album. Silly Annie, should've done that a while ago! "Clipping" is this week's "WINNER WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER" for a VERY good reason...
MuteMath - Clipping
MuteMath - Burden

And on a completely different note...wrap me up and hide me in this beat (0:00-0:21 and 2:01-2:29 preferably) with a pair of bass-heavy super-sized headphones under a huge duvet somewhere...
The Cool Kids - Black Mags (The Widdler Remix)
The Widdler - Froggy Style

Now I don't understand the hype about Drake (aka Jimmy, the wheelchair-bound kid from Degrassi) BUT this remix is cute and I'm sure I'll only get sick of it sometime in the next hour or so...
Drake - Best I Ever Had (Matamatics Remix)

Recognize this song? That's because The Source did it a million and one years ago but it's getting a lot of play on Sirius' XMU for good reason. This girl's good.
Florence and The Machine - You've Got The Love (The XX Remix)

A little bit of nostalgia:
OK Go - A Million Ways

And finally, tried to upload this song but for some reason my FTP site wouldn't let me...to which I replied "Suck It" and found the YouTube audio instead. CAN'T get enough of this song and it's perfect to get your Monday morning kickin. Just add caffeine. And turn it the eff up if you know what's good for you :)
